Every retreat is free. That's the whole point.

Nobody in recovery should have to decide whether they can afford a day on the water. Nobody ever has, and nobody ever will. That's paid for entirely by people who give.

Nobody here takes a salary

Board, staff, guides — everyone volunteers. What that means for you is that your money goes into running retreats, not into running an organization.

Reeling in Serenity is a registered 501(c)(3). Donations are tax-deductible.

Four ways to give

01

Online

EVERY SEPTEMBER, NATIONAL RECOVERY MONTH

The silent auction

Our biggest source of funding by a distance. Guided trips, gear, art and time on water you can't easily buy, donated by our partners and bid on by people who want these retreats to keep running.

THANK YOU

The 2026 auction raised $36,688

Thank you to everyone who donated, bid, and showed up for this year’s auction. Your generosity puts more people on the water next season, and every dollar goes straight to the retreats.

Not September? A gift of $250 puts one person on the water for a day — gear, guide, lunch and all.

The people who make this possible

Every retreat runs on borrowed water, donated gear and people who clear their calendar for a day.
These are the outfitters, shops, lodges and organizations who make it possible.
